Meistro Certified Integrator · MCI
Become a controls contractor. Even if you never were.
The MCI membership gives a service contractor what it takes to sell, design, install and run building controls: Delta Electronics and LOYTEC hardware, the M360 Buildings platform, certification for your team, and MIS behind you.
Membership $475 a month, including the M360 Buildings platform
Why become an MCI?
Join an industry shift, not just a subscription.
Buildings are getting connected. The contractors who connect them will own the service relationship for years. MCI is how a service contractor gets there without building the technology itself.
Recurring revenue
Every connected building becomes a monthly service you bill, on top of the install and the repairs it finds.
Customers who stay
When you see problems before your customer calls, you become the partner they don't replace.
A real difference
Designing, installing and monitoring controls sets your shop apart from shops that only repair.
You're already trusted
Your commercial customers already call you. Start with the equipment you already service.
Room to grow
Start with HVAC, then expand into controls, electrical and power, and critical infrastructure.
No programming department
MIS designs, programs and commissions through its AI factory (automated tools that write most of the controller programming from the design, finished and tested by MIS engineers). Your team installs and services.
The opportunity
What a first Pulse customer base could look like.
Twenty rooftop units is a few commercial customers you already maintain. You set your price, MIS bills you for Pulse and the membership, and the difference is yours every month.
Illustrative Pulse opportunity · 20 HVAC units
At these example prices, 10 units cover the membership. Every unit after that adds $50 a month.
Illustration only, not a profit projection. Before hardware, installation, labor, support and other expenses. Assumes all 20 units are billed for 12 months. You set the price your customers pay.
Your first 90 days
From your first certification to your first monthly bill.
The program's target is your first building live within 90 days.
- 1
Join and certify
Your team takes the one-day MCI certification course. You get the integrator console and demo portals to show prospects.
- 2
Pick your first job
A few rooftop units at a commercial customer you already maintain.
- 3
Design it
The MIS design tool determines the sensors, controllers and points each unit needs.
- 4
Install
Hardware comes through MIS at partner pricing. Your team installs it.
- 5
Commission and go live
MIS programs and commissions through its AI factory (automated tools that write most of the controller programming from the design, finished and tested by MIS engineers). Pulse starts watching, and you send your first monthly bill.
What a first job looks like
Five rooftop units at a customer you already maintain.
An example of how a first Pulse job comes together. The MIS design tool works out the exact sensors and points for each unit.
Sensors and a controller
- Supply and return air temperature
- Compressor current
- Refrigerant suction pressure
- Call for cooling
- A Delta Electronics or LOYTEC controller
Your team installs, MIS commissions
- Hardware ships through MIS at partner pricing
- Your techs mount and wire it, on equipment they already know
- MIS programs it with the AI factory and commissions it with your team on site
- The units come online in M360
A service you bill
- Pulse watches all five units
- Findings land on your board with the evidence
- Your techs fix problems early, and the data verifies the repair
- Your customer sees it in their portal, and you bill monthly
Example for illustration. Every job is designed from the customer's actual equipment.
Once your first customer is running, the same tools scale up to chillers, air handlers, VAV boxes and full building controls.
MCI membership
Join the next generation of infrastructure contractors.
Membership is by application, and certification is earned. Here is what members get, and what they commit to.
Delta Electronics and LOYTEC hardware
Controllers and parts through MIS's national agreements at partner pricing, with deal registration on your projects.
The M360 Buildings platform
Your integrator console: customers, buildings, modules per building, findings, work and a customer portal with your name on it.
The MIS design tool
Describe the building, answer the site-walk questions, or start from a prebuilt table. Every design comes out with a bill of materials, I/O, sequences and commissioning tests. MIS programs and commissions through its AI factory.
Quotes and proposals
Hardware at your markup, labor at your rate and the job's difficulty. Every line says why it's there.
Monthly services to sell
Pulse first, then Monitor, Assets, Intelligence and Automate, switched on per building and billed by you every month.
Training, certification and support
A one-day certification course for your team, demo portals for prospects, "Powered by M360" co-branding, and MIS engineering behind the platform. See the one-day course and sign up →
What members commit to
- Certified. Your team completes the one-day course and passes the knowledge check.
- Deployed. A first Pulse job, with a target of 90 days. MIS helps you get there.
- Current. Certification renews every 12 months as the products are updated.
Questions
What contractors ask first.
Do I need a controls background?
No. The program is built for service contractors who have never done controls. Certification, the design tools and MIS support cover what your team doesn't know yet.
Do I have to change my shop software?
No. The MCI program covers buildings and building controls, and MIS has an API integration with ServiceTitan. If you want it, you can also run M360 in your own shop.
Who owns the customer?
You do. The customer sees your company in their portal, and you set the price and send the bill.
Which hardware do I install?
Delta Electronics and LOYTEC, bought through MIS at partner pricing. M360 also connects to BACnet/IP and the major building systems already in place.
What does it cost?
The membership is $475 a month and includes the M360 Buildings platform. It doesn't include an installed or monitored building: building modules, hardware and installation are separate and depend on the job.
Who programs and commissions the controls?
MIS does. The AI factory, MIS's automated programming tools, writes most of the controller programming from the job's design, and MIS engineers finish, test and commission it. Your team installs the hardware and is on site to support commissioning.
What is the "AI factory"?
It's how MIS programs controllers. Software generates most of the programming for each controller from the job's design, so a job doesn't start from a blank page, and MIS engineers review, finish and test it. You never have to hire or train a programmer.
Is the first building really live in 90 days?
Ninety days is the program's target, not a guarantee. It depends on the customer, the equipment and your team's schedule.
